Those codes are all related to O2 sensors and catalytic converter effectiveness. DTC's P0133 and P0153 are showing the front sensors to be slow in their response. DTC's P0420 and P0430, while addressing catalyst efficiency, could be caused by defective rear (behind the converter) sensors. 07e8 Code Nissan This P0430 code came on after a recent oil change and flushing my engine with seafoam. The info I've gotten from my auto parts store is that it's one of the oxygen sensors, HO2S or Bank 2. I believe, if my research is correct, that this sensor is post cat. P0430 - Catalyst Effeciency BANK 2 You will have one O2 sensor before (Upstream) the catalytic converter and one O2 sensor after (Downstream) the catalytic converter. Any of the 4 O2 sensors can cause this code to set. This code can be set due to a number of things. At that point I filled it with 91 and ran some seafoam through the motor to see if it was the injectors, again it was fine for a few days but then it said Cylinder #4 and multiple cylinder again. So this weekend we changed the upstream O2 sensors, and now it threw the multiple cylinder again today, and I'm running out of ideas. P0430 has absolutely nothing to do with your valve cover gaskets.
